At Roots Cigar Co., we take pride in offering thoughtfully crafted cigars and a buying experience rooted in quality, integrity, and respect for the craft. The following policies are here to set clear expectations and ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Age Requirement

Roots Cigar Co. sells tobacco products intended only for adults 21 years of age or older. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 21 and that your purchase complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if age verification requirements are not met.

Ordering & Payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payment is required in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be processed or shipped until payment has been successfully received.

While we do our best to ensure accuracy, Roots Cigar Co. reserves the right to correct pricing errors, product descriptions, or availability at any time.

Order Availability & Cancellations

Occasionally, an item may become unavailable due to inventory limitations or unforeseen circumstances.

If an order cannot be fulfilled, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will issue a full refund promptly. If this happens, we’ll always aim to communicate clearly and quickly.

Shipping Policy

We currently ship within the United States only.

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping times may vary based on carrier performance, weather, or other factors beyond our control.

Once an order has shipped, Roots Cigar Co. cannot guarantee delivery timelines and is not responsible for carrier delays.

Returns, Refunds & Shipping Damage

Due to the nature of premium cigars and proper storage requirements, all cigar sales are generally final.

That said, we understand that shipping issues can occur. If your order arrives damaged in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include:

  • Clear photos of the damaged product and packaging

  • Your order number

Refunds or replacements for shipping damage are offered at our discretion after reviewing the provided information.

We do not accept returns or refunds for issues related to personal storage conditions, humidity, or buyer preference.

Lost or Stolen Packages

Roots Cigar Co. is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier that are later lost or stolen. We recommend shipping to a secure location whenever possible.

Taxes & Legal Compliance

Applicable taxes, including tobacco-related taxes where required, will be collected in accordance with the law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the purchase and possession of tobacco products are legal in their jurisdiction.

Product Care & Storage

Cigars are natural products that require proper humidification. Once delivered, Roots Cigar Co. cannot be responsible for product condition due to improper storage.

We strongly recommend placing cigars in a properly maintained humidor immediately upon receipt.

Limitation of Liability

Roots Cigar Co. is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products. All products are sold “as available.”
